Ikea : Saving the Planet??? Bottled water bullshit

Ikea Australia sent me an email this week telling me they were replacing free coffee/tea in their restaurants with 50% off bottled water, "better for you, better for the planet". What crap. Australian tap water is fine to drink (especially Melbourne water).
How irresponsible for a so-called environmentally-friendly multinational company to promote bottled water.

.... better for landfills and clogged waterways? What a waste of money and resources.

Okay, Ikea, if you want to pull the free coffee, okay, but don't clothe it in fake 'green' credentials.

"Zombieland" Amazon TV pilot 2013 review

When you are not expecting much from a show, it's a nice surprise. I liked the "Zombieland" 2009 movie a lot. The interaction between the two male leads, Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg, the cool graphics, the rules of Zombieland. With the same writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, a likable cast (Tyler Ross is quite cute) and a new character, Detroit (the 'eye in the sky', the dulcet tones of Kendra Fountain). There is a lot to like here.
The hilarious first scene in the office, two prats discussing finicky food choices while a zombie apocalypse is raging (chainsaws, incinerated man, crashing jet) behind them through the full length window. The geriatric zombies, Ikea chit chat, running "vagina" count, loads of pop culture references (Ms Pacman and Brady's tiki idol) made it a diverting 28 minutes. Pretty strong production values too. Did Talahassee (Kirk Ward) mention "Eisenberg" in one of his lines?
Favourite bit: "Zombie Kill of the Week" (the Indiana Jones/'76' ball). A big laugh following a gore fest (e.g. Talahassee clubbing the elderly zombies) was occasionally disconcerting.
As far as this 57 year old is concerned, I'd give this a go.  Hell, it was free.

• those Google home page animations/designs, they're informative, too
• getting an unexpected birthday greeting when you open up Google (see above)
• those Ikea commercials
• hearing a kookaburra some mornings
• Graham Norton's "Red Chair" segment
• watching Margaret and David disagree over films in The Movie Show
• hearing the local school bell sound at 9 o'clock when I am still reading in bed (I am a retired primary school teacher)
• using 'in-house' phrases and words that only my wife and daughter understand the context of
• turning left (pointy end) rather than right (cattle class), boarding a plane (unfortunately not often enough)
• hearing the pop of a sparkling wine/champagne bottle being opened
• being woken up by a sloppy lick/kiss from the dog in the morning
• reading advertising signs like: "Sweeney Todd Medical Waste Removal"; a retired doctor's B&B called "Bedside Manor" ....or (for HR Model Holden car parts) "HR Parts and Stuff"           
• going to the fridge and discovering a chilled bottle of wine hiding at the back
